TCD (Trumble Cheer & Dance) has a rich history, starting its journey in 1996 within the cozy confines of a local village hall. Since then, it has blossomed into a vibrant dance community, fostering a love for movement and expression. In 2018, TCD reached a milestone with the opening of its dedicated dance studio in Tain.

Our team of TCD teachers is not only qualified but also deeply passionate about dance. We cater to a diverse age range, from our littlest dancers (Tiny’s) to those who have gracefully embraced the Vintage category. Yes, you read that right—our students span from 3 years old to an impressive 78 years young!

At TCD, we’re more than just a dance school; we’re a Dance Family. Our ethos revolves around encouragement, inclusivity, and unwavering support for every student. No one is left behind—we believe that everyone deserves their moment in the spotlight. Whether it’s dancing in our annual show or taking exams, each pupil gets their chance to shine.

Former TCD students have gone on to pursue full-time dance and theatre training, and we couldn’t be prouder. But it doesn’t stop there. Our teacher training program is a shining star in our constellation. We mentor aspiring dancers, nurturing them into professional teachers who will inspire the next generation.
